Architectural Services:

All Local Planning Authorities request that Scaled:- Plans, Elevations, Site Plans, Block Plans and Ordinance Survey documents be submitted with all Applications to them for approval.

Building Control, Which is the second stage of the Approval process also require Detailed and Scaled Drawings to be submitted to them. Or to be provided if a builders notice is to be used.

I produce all of the above to your exact requirements.

The links to your left are previews of some of the drawings that I have produced.

The process is as follows:-

You contact me with your requirements. I will provide you with a Quote for your project.

If  my quote is accepted , We arrange a convenient time for a visit to the site that is to be developed.

On my visit to the property, We will discus the best design criteria for your project. Once this has been arranged, I will perform a site survey of your existing property. Surveys differ depending on which type of development you require. I then return to my office to produce the scaled drawings with the information that was gathered from our meeting and my site survey. These drawings are produced using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. This means that your drawings are created and printed with exact measurements that can be scaled from the printed copies as per planning requirements.  It also means that copies of the drawings will be emailed to you in Adobe Reader PDF format for your records. Along with copies of the application documents and all other relevant documents that your project requires for planning and building regulations approval. Once the Drawings are completed. I will contact you to arrange a convenient time to visit you with the proposal. On small to medium projects, Payment will be due at this visit subject to your approval with the Drawings and design. On larger projects, A small deposit will be required. All documents then get Issued via the Planning Portal to your local planning department. All documents required in the application process are copied to yourselves along with copies of the drawings. By post or email. You decide which you prefer. I act as your agent through the entire process. The planning process usually takes 8 weeks before a decision is made. Planning then send me the decision documents. Which I relay to you.  I hope that this has been informative.

And I look forward to providing you with a competitive quote for your project.
